At Detroit Innovation Academy, we promote individual as well as group success for our teachers and scholars, and these successes are recognized and celebrated. We promote scholar and staff safety both emotionally and physically. Scholars are consistently held to high academic expectations, but mistakes are not considered failures, they are opportunities to learn and grow. We promote the collaboration and partnership of parents, scholars, staff, and administration when making decisions that directly affect the scholars success. All scholars have access to academic support and services through individual, small group, and whole group based instruction so they may succeed.
